My Solemnization [27th Oct 2007]

28th Oct 2007 was a very special day in my life. It's when the knot's tied between me & my husband. The engagement day was on the 3rd Dec 2006.Which took us 10mth before getting married. I was so nervous that day, that many of the things that I should've brought to the mosque, I simply forgot to bring it. The solemnization was done at the historical Masjid Ubudiah.One of the oldest mosque in Malaysia. Often can be seen in postcards because it happen to be sceneric & have very spectacular panorama..... on that very special day, the moment I laid my eyes on my husband, my heart rushed with emotion, maybe because I was so happy for us to finally change our status from friends to fiance to husband&wife.... yihaa... and also maybe because he looked so handsome & neat hihihi that a wively feeling,others might not agree hihihi so what.....*wink*wink*

Having had a status changed is not a big different to me since my husband & I are not living together. We decided to let the situation's stable before we plan to settle down.I'm right now working in Penang,which is 5hours drive to Shah Alam, where my husband is right now.

Being a wife to a PhD student really a challenge,at least this's what I feel. I want him to suceed but at the same time I need his attention. This is what sometime I need to deal with. But after all, as long as there's love,faith & patience, I believe we can be happy & enjoy each & everyday of our live as a couple.

It's already 45days being a wife to Mr Iez. Which is a feeling that can't be put into words.

I've heard a lot of my friends telling their concerns that my husband & I are actually living apart. In malay, this's what we usually say"Berat mata memandang,berat lg bahu memikul".. but anyway hopefully, things'll be better next year..insyaAllah

TIPS TO STAY HAPPY WHEN WE'RE AWAY FROM OUR HUSBANDS:

- dont think too much..there's always silver lining on every clouds..

- comfort urself that things'll be ok in a few mths time.

- the things keeping u guys away better be good...[good job..good bosses~easy leave approval~..easy naik gaji...etc]

- keep urself busy with friends.... ~i have my housemates~

- create favourite passtimes...watching movies,readings..etc

- save a lot of money...so u can have a backup plan...like turn into a housewife & start a bussiness of ur own...who knows..

- always be thankful to the Creator....that at least we have a job
